For this linden wood design, Mama Bird with Four Babies Nesting Doll, designer Aamu Song and Johan Olin—founders of the Helsinki-based design brand COMPANY—traveled to Russia. Their mission was to research the manufacturing secrets of nesting, or matryoshka dolls.
